Porto de Galinhas is one of the great stars of the Pernambuco coast and no less. Coladinha in Recife, about 60 km from the capital of Pernambuco, the beach is one of the most sought after destinations by tourists thirsty for clear water, warm weather, natural pools and all the wonders that only this small piece Brazilian paradise has.
This was the scenario chosen by our adventure correspondent Pepe Fiamoncini to enjoy days of sun, sea and emotions. And of course, we wouldn’t miss this trip for nothing! He came back with many sightseeing tips and showed how many snorkels a dream trip is made in Porto de Galinhas .
From the famous slopes of Olinda straight to the wonders of Porto de Galinhas. This is how our journey begins, full of energy and excitement!
I chose Porto de Galinhas, and took the opportunity to stretch to Maracaipe and Carneiros Beach, to rest after Carnival.Praias de Porto de galinhas – Brazil
Only 60 km separate Recife from Porto de Galinhas . And to get there, I transported a private car at Recife-Guararapes International Airport with friends, which cost $ 25 per person, to drop us at the door of the hostel where we stayed.
The main purpose of the trip was to take a kitesurf course, but of course we took advantage of the breaks between one wind and another to enjoy the best of the region.Porto de Galinhas is very popular for its natural beauty, especially for the natural pools formed just in front of the beach. You can hike, snorkel, kayak, stand up paddle and raft. What did I choose? The option was to unveil the large reef formation very closely, even diving.
There are a few dive companies in the region that cater to all levels of experience. We chose Porto Point, which took us for a dive 12 meters deep.In addition to the scuba diving, they took us to the raft diving point. That is, we got an extra ride and still snorkeled after the dive. Yes!
With good winds to practice the sport, I went to start my classes… Kitesurfing is a new sport for me and, therefore, it yielded many drops and good laughs until I got the hang of it. Anyone in the area who wants to take classes or rent equipment, I refer to the Board Club.
Classes are held at Pontal de Maracaipe, where the sand strip is longer. By the way, have you ever seen the sunset of this place? Not? People from all over the region gather at the beach for the popular evening show. In Pontal, another gift from nature also happens, the meeting of the fresh waters of the river with the sea. Wonderful!Another super cool option is the visit to the mangrove to see the seahorses, offered by the rafts on the beach.
Maracaipe has tourism based on natural beauties , such as the Pontal natural pools and the coconut grove. A tip to get the most out of the place is to include the buggy ride on your list. Paramotor flying over the beaches is also very worthwhile. From the top, you can see the coral formations of Porto de Galinhas. A unique experience!
